"Honours the history, culture and significance of paddy farming in Kedah"


Argh~ Another boring weekend, my girlfriend and i decide to go for a short trip to visit the Paddy Museum. located at Kedah.  We decide to depart at 8.00a.m. morning. But because of my laziness to get out of bed, we end up depart at 11a.m.
The museum showcases the paddy cultivation process in Malaysia and displays all kinds of tools and equipment which have been used in the trade over the years. The unique architecture of the Paddy Museum represents bushels of harvested rice stalks.

The museum is a 3 storey building. each floor exhibit different of themes.

1st Floor showcase the history of paddy planting in Kedah and tools and equipment used by farmers. 



2nd Floor is the galleries with beautiful paintings that depict the agricultural activities.



Collage shows the historical living activities of farmers.

3rd Floor is the mural or wall painting art work. It is a 360 degree massive wall painting. There is seat provided for the visitor to sit and the the revolving gallery rotates so that you can admire the massive 103m mural without moving an inch.
